Terms and conditions
Entrants
1. One entry is counted when a person applies for a QA Apprenticeship using the online application form and enters the
name of the QA Apprentice who recommended them. Please refer to point 3. for eligibility criteria.
2. Every friend recommended that goes through the process above counts as an additional entry into the competition.
3. Entry is open to current QA Apprentices, and those who have completed their QA Apprenticeship within the last 6
months.
4. Entrants to this competition approve the use of their details, as well as receiving email marketing communications
from QA Apprenticeships only. You are able to opt-out of future communications after our initial email communication
5. Current QA staff are not eligible to enter this competition.
6. By entering this competition, you and the person you have recommended consent to being contacted by QA
Apprenticeships in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We may contact you via email, SMS, phone or post
in order to:
 Keep you updated about your entry
 Provide you with more QA Apprenticeships information
Prize winner
7. A prize winner will be drawn at random in June 2015
8. The prizes available are three Google Chromecasts that will be awarded to three separate individuals. One individual
cannot claim more than one prize.
9. The prize is as stated, is not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. QA
Apprenticeships is not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or
resulting from participating in the competition or from downloading materials
10. The winner will have 1 week to claim their prize after being informed. A telephone call accompanied by an email
(to verify authenticity, QA Apprenticeships email addresses end in @qa.com) will notify the winner of their prize. If a
prize hasn’t been claimed within this period, the prize will be given to the next eligible entrant drawn at random. If
someone has not accepted a prize after attempts to contact two winners a prize will not be awarded.
11. The winner agrees to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of country or town of residence and will cooperate with any other reasonable requests relating to any post-winning publicity
12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances QA Apprenticeships reserves the right to substitute the prize for an
alternative of equal or greater value
13. Any offer or part of the competition may be amended or withdrawn at any time without notice
14. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in
forfeiture of the prize
General
15. QA reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competition at any time and reject entries from those not entering
into the spirit of the competition
