New smart sound deadeners
International plastic, rubber and foam product specialist, CARBODY, plans to use its Global
Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo 2015 presence to launch its latest smart sound
deadener.
The company, which specialises in developing plastic, rubber and foam products for the automotive
industry, will present its NovAcoustic, the next generation of its Novafib smart sound deadener.
This newly patented product offers significant weight reductions together with improved optimal
acoustic performance. The deadener combines high temperature resistance over 215°C, and is flame
retardant and fluid resistant. It is designed to help manufacturers improve performance throughout
the production process.
CARBODY says NovAcoustic is 100% recyclable and because it features welded edges, it reduces the
risk of pollution, making it both flexible and rigid.

New leak detection system
BBS Automation will showcase its latest standalone helium leak detection system to Stuttgart
audiences at this year’s Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo.
The Helium Leak Detecting System (HLDS) developed by ixmation uses helium to detect leaks before,
during and after each production process, increasing the quality of customers’ device production.
The technology is designed to use helium leak detection tests to improve the long-term quality of
production processes.

Gasket, comes to Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo for the second time,
showcasing its latest gasket and custom part line-up.

Hungarian automotive investment opportunities
As part of a bid to secure more automotive investment in the country, the Hungarian government is
sending a delegation of automotive professionals to this year’s Global Automotive Components and
Suppliers Expo.
The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) is the Hungarian government’s professional
organisation, was set up to champion Hungary as an investment hub, with the stand at this year’s
expo dedicated to securing investment in the country’s automotive sector.
A spokesman for HIPA said: “Our main goal is to help Hungary take the leading role on the field of
automotive industry in the CEE region, so we’re keen on promoting the Hungarian companies’
innovative automotive products and their latest manufacturing technologies, along with developing
relations between Hungarian SME’s and the integrator companies while informing investors about
the supplier potentials in Hungary.”
The HIPA stand represents a collective of automotive specialist enterprises, including - Ferro-Press
Fémipari Szolgáltató Kft., Hajdu Autotechnika Zrt, Karsai Műanyagtechnika Holding Zrt , Simon

range of wire harnesses for classic cars to Stuttgart audiences.

Italian company Meroni plan to use its Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo presence
to showcase its extensive range of automotive materials.
