About 60% of the program focuses
on advanced study in health services
and health policy for the population of
focus. Students will gain exposure to an
interdisciplinary learning environment
to mirror real-world collaboration
that takes place in project-oriented
environments.
About 40% of the program focuses on
the leadership platform—where students
in the MHLP degree will interact and
form a cohort with students from the
Master of Engineering Leadership
(MEL) programs to concentrate on
developing the business and leadership
skills critical to managing in today’s
team-oriented structures. Plenty of
face-to-face experiences, co-op work
placements, professional development
workshops and individual coaching
will support the growth of professional
development and communication skills.
