ALL SLO COURSES ARE LISTED IN TESTING AND ASSESSMENT SHAREPOINT SITE BY GRADE BAND. HOW WERE THE SLO TESTS CONSTRUCTED? THE APS SLO TESTS ARE ALIGNED TO THE APS CURRICULUM AND TO THE STATE STANDARDS. PRIORITY STANDARDS AND CORRESPONDING DEPTH OF KNOWLEDGE LEVELS ARE CAPTURED, TEACHERS OF THE SPECIFIC CONTENT AREAS COLLABORATE ON THE CREATION AND VETTING OF THE SLO TESTS. HOWEVER, YOU CAN ASSIGN THE SAME PIN CODE TO ALL SECTIONS FOR A SPECIFIC TEST SIMULTANEOUSLY BY SELECTING ALL OF THE APPROPRIATE SECTIONS FOR THE TERM SELECTED USING THE CHECKBOXES PROVIDED. JUST BE AWARE THAT IF A STUDENT IS ABSENT AND HAS ACCESS TO A COMPUTER PRIOR TO THE MAKEUP DAY, A CLASSMATE COULD PROVIDE THEM WITH THE ACTIVE PIN CODE AND THEY COULD TAKE THE TEST OUTSIDE OF A RESTRICTED TESTING ENVIRONMENT (I.E. LAB OR CLASSROOM). AN ALTERNATE APPROACH WOULD BE TO CLOSE THE SESSION AS NORMAL AND THEN REOPEN IT ON MAKEUP DAY. THE RESULTS FROM IRESPOND ARE PROCESSED AND SCORED WITHIN A FEW MINUTES OF CLOSING OUT A SESSION IN IRESPOND. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 5 MINUTES TO SEE YOUR SCORES BASED ON THE VOLUME OF TESTS BEING PROCESSED. IF AFTER THAT TIME PERIOD, THE SCORES ARE STILL NOT VISIBLE, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL SUPPORT RESOURCES TO HAVE THE ISSUE EXPLORED IN DETAIL. MY CLASS SCORES POSTED, BUT ONE OR MORE STUDENTS DON’T HAVE SCORES. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? THERE ARE THREE REASONS THAT INDIVIDUAL STUDENT SCORES WOULD NOT POST FROM IRESPOND. FIRST, A MINIMUM OF ONE-HALF OF THE ITEMS MUST BE ANSWERED IN ORDER FOR THE SCORES TO BE POSTED. SECOND, A VALID STUDENT ID NUMBER (FROM INFINITE CAMPUS) MUST BE ATTACHED TO THE STUDENT (AN ERROR HERE WOULD LIKELY BE A STUDENT MANUALLY ADDED TO THE CLASS WITH THE WRONG NUMBER). THIRD, THE STUDENT DOES NOT HAVE A COURSE SCHEDULED THAT MATCHES THE COURSE NUMBER(S) ASSIGNED TO THE TEST ADMINISTERED (FOR INSTANCE YOU ADMINISTERED A THIRD GRADE ASSESSMENT TO A FOURTH GRADE STUDENT). YOU CAN REPLAY THE SESSION WITHIN IRESPOND (SEE IRESPOND DOCUMENTATION) TO CONFIRM THAT A PARTICULAR STUDENT HAS ANSWERED THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF QUESTIONS, OR TO UPDATE THEIR STUDENT ID NUMBER IF MANUALLY ENTERED INCORRECTLY. WHEN YOU CLOSE THE SESSION AGAIN THE UPDATED DATA WILL BE SENT TO THE PHOENIX SYSTEM. AS A PRINCIPAL OR BUILDING ADMINISTRATOR HOW CAN I FIND THE STATUS OF TEST ADMINISTRATIONS FOR MY TEACHERS? IF YOU HAVE BUILDING-LEVEL AUTHORITY, YOU SHOULD SEE A “PROCESSING STATUS” OPTION ON THE ASSESSMENT MENU. SELECT THIS OPTION, SELECT THE DESIRED TEST TYPE, SUBJECT, AND COURSE, AND THEN CLICK THE SEARCH BUTTON. CLICK THE DESIRED TEST FROM THE LIST. THERE ARE FOUR TABS THAT ARE SHOWN ON THE RIGHT—GENERAL TEST INFORMATION, PUBLISHING STATUS (I.E. WHICH TEACHERS HAD THE TEST PUSHED TO THEIR COMPUTERS), PROCESSING ACTIVITY (I.E. IRESPOND SCORES BEING PROCESSED), AND SCORING (WHICH TEACHERS AND CLASSES HAVE HAD SCORES POSTED). AS A BUILDING ADMINISTRATOR HOW CAN I ANALYZE SCORES FOR ALL MY TEACHERS? YOU HAVE THE SAME PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OPTION AS A CLASSROOM TEACHER. SIMPLY CLICK ON THE TEST FROM THE “MY ASSESSMENTS” SECTION ON THE PHOENIX DASHBOARD AND SELECT THE “VIEW PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS” OPTION. THE DEFAULT VIEW OF THE DATA FOR A BUILDING ADMINISTRATOR IS FOR “ALL TEACHERS AT YOUR LOCATION” WHICH WILL CONSOLIDATE THE SCORES ACROSS ALL TEACHERS AND CLASSROOMS THAT HAVE ADMINISTERED THE SELECTED ASSESSMENT. YOU CAN STILL VIEW SPECIFIC TEACHERS OR CLASSES BY SELECTING THEM FROM THE VIEW AND GROUP DROPDOWNS ON THE PERFORMANCE PAGE.
