Walker Registration
In an internet browser, navigate to www.runorwalk.org. Click
on the green register button towards the top right of the page

•  Select your registration type (walker) in the quantity column
•  Click “Register”
•  If you are registering more than one person, you can complete
individual participant information in the following steps

Create a First Giving account by completing the form or linking to your
Facebook account
If you already have a First Giving account you can login by clicking on the
“Sign in with email” button on the top right of the screen
When complete, click “Next”

To join an existing team, search and select your team from the list
If you’d like to create a team, you can do so by clicking “click here” under “Would you like
to start a new team?” You will need to name your team. A team description is optional
If you do not wish to join a team, click “I don’t want to join a team”
When complete, click “Next”

Set up your personalized fundraising page to explain why you are supporting The Arc of Essex
County, set fundraising goals, and explain why your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors
should donate to become your run/walk sponsor
If you prefer to set up this page at a later time, you can click “I don’t want to create a page at
this time”
When complete, click “Next”

Consider making the first donation towards your walk efforts by checking
the “Make a donation to the nonprofit box”
Enter your payment details and click “Submit

You’ve completed the registration process. A registration confirmation is at the bottom of this screen.

Set/edit your fundraising goal
Set up an automatic thank you message when friends/family donate
Ask for donations via email
View your team page
Enter offline donations (if someone gives you a cash/check donation)
Additionally, your personal fundraising page web address is noted at the top of the page. You can share
this website on social media to ask family/friends for donations

right side of the page
