Training Plan
 The general rule of thumb is to increase the distance you cycle
each week by 5/10 miles. If you already ride 10 miles then the
next week you should increase to 15/20 miles. If you already cycle
50 miles, then increase the mileage and also the pace.
 You should only cycle 3-4 times each week. Rest is as important
as training so please do not over do it.
 You should build up to 50/60 mile rides at least twice a week and
if possible to 2 consecutive days.
 One ride of 70/80 miles is recommended so that your body knows
how it feels over that time and distance. You will also know how
long you take to recover.
 As the ride gets close you should tail off your distance and have 3
full days rest before the event.
 Please consult your doctor before the event.
