SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
General
Cut out the pattern pieces and pin
them to the fabric. The best way to do
this is shown on the drawing of how the
pattern should be placed on the fabric.
Cut out the fabric sections to size,
with a 1 centimetre seam allowance.
Pay extra attention to the notches on
the darts and side seams. These are
indicated on the pattern. The notches
indicate where the pieces of fabric
should be sewn together. Copy these
indications/notches onto the fabric.
Cuffs
Sew together the cuff pieces on the
short sides. Iron open the seams.
Double-fold the cuff along the long
edge and iron. Cut the elastic to the
required length and sew it together on
the short sides. Place the elastic in the
cuff and sew the elastic at 0.5 cm.
Important: If the fabric is longer than
the elastic, this will create extra gathers.
Sew the cuff to the sleeve.
Find the front panels and pocket
pieces. Sew the top pocket along the
pocket entry. Make notches in the seam
up to the stitching. Fold the pocket
upwards and topstitch it. The stitching
will then only be on the good side of
the pocket piece and all seams will
be folded towards the pocket piece.
Repeat this on the side panel.
Waistband
Side and front panels
Open the zipper and separate it into
two parts. Place the left zipper part on
the left panel and sew it to the centre
front. The zipper ends at the bottom of
the collar. Repeat this on the right side.
Place the side panel with the good side
facing the good side of the front panel.
Sew the seams up to the pockets.
The side and front panels are now
sewn together.
Pocket zipper
Place the zipper on the opening of the
pocket. Sew the bottom part of the
zipper onto the front section. Important:
fold the pocket piece upwards so that
you do not accidentally sew it down.
Next, sew the top of the zipper onto
the panel. Iron open the seams on the
front panels.
Sleeves
Sew the dart in the front sleeve section.
Iron the dart forward.
Pleat/flounce in sleeve
Double-iron the flounce and place it on
the front part of the sleeve. Sew at 0.5
cm. Place the back part of the sleeve
with the good side facing the good side
of the front sleeve section and sew the
seam. Sew the underarm seam of the
sleeve. The sleeve is now finished.
Back panels
Place the front panels and back panel
with the good sides facing each other
and sew the seams. Iron open the seams.
Placing sleeve in panel
Place the armholes with the good side
facing the panel. Important: one notch
is indicated on the front and two next to
each other on the back. This shows which
is the front and which is the back. Sew
the armhole seams and iron the seams
towards the edge of the sleeve.
Collar
Sew together the top of the collar.
Reverse the parts and double-iron the
seam. Place the collar with the good
side facing the panels and sew the
collar into the neck opening.

Double-iron the waistband on the long
sides. Sew the waistband to the bottom
of the jacket. Cut the elastic to the
required length and thread it through
the tunnel with a safety pin. Tack the
elastic to the centre front.
Zipper
Facings
Sew the shoulder seams of the facings
on the front and back with the good
sides facing each other. Iron open the
seams.
Lining
Sew together the lining following
the same order as the outside. Leave
open a section in the middle of one
forearm seam for reversing the jacket
afterwards. Sew the facings to the
lining.
Sewing lining to jacket
Sew the facings to the centre front
and neck. Next, sew the bottom of
the lining to the jacket waistband. Sew
the sleeve lining to the edges of the
sleeve. You can now reverse the jacket
completely through the hole in the
sleeve.
Ironing
Iron the jacket at the neck and centre
front at the zipper.
Topstitching zipper
Topstitch the zipper at the centre front
at 0.7 cm.

ORDRE DE TRAVAIL
Généralités
Coupez les pièces du patron et
épinglez-les sur le tissu. Pour les placer
au mieux, consultez le dessin de la
disposition du tissu. Coupez les pièces
de tissu selon la taille en ajoutant 1
cm pour les coutures. Veillez bien aux
encoches pour les pinces et coutures
latérales. Ces encoches sont dessinées
sur le patron et indiquent où les pièces,
doivent être assemblées. Reprenez ces
indications / encoches sur le tissu.
Bord d’encolure
Attention : ne coupez pas les
encoches trop profondément, donc au
maximum 1 cm. Ce sont uniquement
des points de marquage.
Entoilage des pièces
Assemblez le dessus des bords par une
piqûre. Retournez les pièces et ouvrez
bien la couture au fer. Posez le bord
endroit contre endroit sur le buste et
piquez le bord dans l’encolure.
Entoilez les pièces suivantes avec
de la Vlieseline® :

Poignets
Poches
Prenez les devants et les pièces de
poches séparément. Piquez le dessus de
poche le long de l’ouverture de poche.
Faites quelques encoches dans
la couture, jusqu’à la piqûre. Pliez la
poche vers le dessus et surpiquez au
bord. La piqûre ne se situe alors que sur
l’endroit de la pièce de poche, toutes
les coutures sont alors pliées vers la
pièce de poche. Répétez ceci pour le
côté devant.
Côtés devants et devants
Posez le côté devant endroit contre
endroit sur le devant. Piquez les
coutures jusqu’aux poches.
Le devant et le côté devant sont
maintenant assemblés.
Fermeture éclair pour la poche
Posez la fermeture éclair sur l’ouverture
de la poche. Piquez le dessous de la
fermeture éclair sur le devant.
Attention : rabattez la pièce de
poche vers le haut afin qu’elle ne soit
pas cousue. Piquez ensuite le dessus
de la fermeture éclair sur le devant.
Ouvrez les coutures des devants au fer.
Manches
Piquez la couture de coupe dans le
devant de manche. Aplatissez au fer la
couture de coupe vers le devant.
Pli/bande dans la manche
Pliez au fer la bande de manche en
deux et posez-la sur le devant de
manche. Piquez-la à 0,5 cm. Posez le
dos de manche endroit contre endroit
sur le devant de manche et piquez la
couture. Piquez la couture inférieure de
la manche. La manche est prête.
Dos
Posez les devants endroit contre endroit
sur le dos et assemblez les côtés par
une couture. Ouvrez les coutures au fer.
Montage des manches sur
le buste
Posez les emmanchures endroit contre
endroit sur le buste. Attention : sur le
devant, une encoche est indiquée, et
sur le dos, deux encoches sont
indiquées côte à côte. Vous pouvez ainsi
distinguer le devant du dos. Piquez les
coutures des emmanchures, aplatissez
les coutures au fer vers la manche.

Assemblez les extrémités des poignets
par une piqûre. Ouvrez les coutures au
fer. Pliez le poignet en deux, dans la
longueur, et aplatissez au fer. Coupez
l’élastique à la longueur nécessaire
et assemblez-le aux extrémités par
une piqûre. Insérez l’élastique dans le
poignet et piquez-le à l’intérieur, à 0,5
cm.
Attention : le tissu est trop long pour
l’élastique et va donc former des fronces
supplémentaires. Piquez le poignet à la
manche.
Bande de taille
Pliez au fer la bande de taille en deux,
dans la longueur. Assemblez la bande
de taille endroit contre endroit au bas
du blouson. Coupez l’élastique à la
longueur nécessaire et passez-le dans le
tunnel avec une épingle à nourrice.
Fixez l’élastique au milieu du devant.
Fermeture éclair
Ouvrez la fermeture éclair, vous avez
ainsi deux parties. Posez la partie
gauche sur le devant gauche et
piquez-la sur le milieu du devant.
La fermeture éclair arrive jusqu’en bas
du bord d’encolure. Répétez ceci pour
le côté droit.
Parementures
Assemblez les coutures d’épaules des
parementures devant et dos, endroit
contre endroit. Ouvrez les coutures au fer.
Doublures
Assemblez la doublure ; à cet effet,
suivez le même ordre que pour
l’extérieur. Laissez une ouverture dans
une couture de dessous de manche,
au milieu, pour pouvoir retourner
ultérieurement le blouson. Piquez les
parementures à la doublure.
Assemblage de la doublure
au blouson
Piquez les parementures au milieu
devant et à l’encolure. Piquez ensuite
le bas de la doublure à la bande de
taille du blouson. Piquez la doublure
de manche aux poignets de la manche.
Vous pouvez maintenant retourner
entièrement le blouson par le trou laissé
dans la manche.
Repassage
Repassez le blouson au niveau de
l’encolure et du milieu devant, pour bien
aplatir la fermeture éclair.
Surpiqûre de la fermeture éclair
Surpiquez la fermeture éclair sur le
milieu devant à 0,7 cm.
