Carnival

Carnival
Headlines: Carnival is a celebration of colour taking inspiration from the alluring heat of tropical Brazil. Sexy shapes
and bold colours are combined for a Rio Carnival feel. Glamorous eveningwear is updated with Phosphorescent
brights with bold tropical inspired patterns and tribal influences. This look also filters through to a more casual
collection as skater skirts, T-shirts, bomber jackets and printed trousers are all updated with tropical patterns.
Encrusted, oversized gemstones and pattern mixes are used for accessories.
Key colours: A vibrant palette of bright yellows, greens, blues, pinks and purples worn together in clashing
combinations.
Key fabrics: Fabrics are sumptuous and sexy with tight jersey body-con dresses and more floaty chiffons creating
volume for evening wear. Sheen and metallic fabrics are used for a glamorous finish mixed with bright and colourful
patterns.
Key silhouettes: The popular silhouettes from previous seasons of figure-hugging body-con dresses, cutaway maxi
dresses, skater skirts and tapered trousers are updated with exotic prints for this energetic high summer look.
Dresses are worn to emphasise the silhouette while more casual items have a slouchier feel.
