A Great Season

It has been a great season. Despite the lack of snow throughout the Western
U.S., we have been able to scrape some good snow together and have some
always fun and memorable Arriba! ski trips. It is with some sadness we say
farewell to another ski season but know there is another season to look forward
to.
It is with the same feeling that I step down as president, but will always be
present helping the new board continue the legacy of Arriba. I encourage all of
you to do the same. The club does not survive on its own, but on the hard work
of those who help put our trips and social events together. My hope is to have
all of the members who have not served on the board participate in any and
every way possible to continue the legacy of the fun and memorable experiences
that Arriba has put together.
We will end the season with our annual End of Season party on June 20. Come
enjoy some fun in the sun and take a dip in the pool. Thank you Al for hosting
(again) the End of Season party.

Finally the message you have all been anxiously waiting for!
The season has just begun, but our annual board elections are
approaching and for 2015/2016 we will have several positions
open. So here is your chance to show your pride in the club and
give back to the organization you love. As an additional incentive,
each board member for the 2015-2016 season will get a $50
credit towards any Arriba! ski trip in appreciation of their efforts.
If you are interested in volunteering as a board member, are
thinking about it, or have entertained the thought at least once
or twice in your life, contact your current president, Kelly.

Yosemite
Our Yosemite trip sold
out in record time. But
don’t despair. We are
now taking a wait list
for cancellations and
are hoping to add a
few more rooms.
Arriba will return to Yosemite this June, on June 4-7 when the waterfalls are at their peak. It is your change to
experience the spectacular beauty of Yosemite. We will carpool up to Yosemite with our usual format of staying one
night at the Wawona Hotel and two nights in the valley floor at the Yosemite lodge.
We have two types of rooms for the first night at the Wawona Hotel - ones with private bath and ones without. All
rooms at the Yosemite lodge have private baths. All rooms will be double occupancy.
The pricing for this trip is as follows: $420 per person for private bath at Wawona Or $375 per person for room
without private bath at Wawona.

Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive your check at the P.O. Box.
A special thanks to Vinney for securing the rooms last year to make this trip possible. If you are not aware, it is
extremely difficult to secure rooms to make this trip happen.
Don’t delay in signing up. The 12 spaces will go fast! (Yes, they did, but we are hoping to add more rooms)
