International Arbitration
Currently, the number of international disputes involving Russian companies and individuals
is growing at a steady pace. This is a result of Russian companies’ integrating into the
world economy as well as the increasing confidence of business entities in international
commercial arbitration, which has traditionally been considered a highly professional
means of resolving disputes.
By combining the strengths of ART DE LEX’s unique team of lawyers with the strengths
of the Firm’s leading partners, we are able to resolve every matter and project. This group
of specialists is composed of professionals that are experts within their own jurisdiction and
possess the requisite legal expertise and skills.
Maintaining a high legal and professional standard, combined with a commitment
to delivering the highest quality service, has been ART DE LEX’s traditional advantage over
its competitors in the legal services market.

Our services
In addition to preparing all the necessary documents and representing the interests
of a Client before an arbitration court, we also offer a comprehensive and systematic
approach to resolving the matter at hand at all stages of the process. This results in a more
balanced approach to taking a decision on a specific course of action.
Consequently, during the process, a Client may take advantage of the results
and accumulated expertise of the Firm’s other practices.
ART DE LEX advises clients on
international arbitration in respect of:
—— consulting and establishing contract
provisions to resolve disputes
(arbitration clauses, in the full sense);
—— rendering an independent assessment
of each party’s position in a dispute
and the prospects of resolving the
matter;
—— developing a defence strategy;
—— presenting legal positions in
international commercial arbitration
courts and state courts in the major
international arbitration centres;
—— gathering and organising supporting
materials;
—— co-ordinating actions with experts and
expert organisations;
—— recognising and enforcing the
decisions of foreign arbitration courts;
—— representing interests as part of
enforcement proceedings.
