Missing a Class
Each class, seminar, intensive, Q&A, and any other occurrence in which an individual
(hereafter client) signs up and pays for a session is a onetime event (hereafter referred
to as “class”). If a client does not show up for a class, forgets about a class, is late for
a class, or any other situation occurs in which the client does not participate or arrive at
their paid for class no refunds or credit will be issued. Refunds will only be accepted
as laid out in our Cancellation and Refund Policies section of this document.
Payment and Reserving a Class
Payment must be made within 7 days of the scheduled class to reserve the clients spot
in the class. If classes still have room within 7 days of the class, payment must be
made within 24 hours of signing up for the class. Clients will receive an invoice, via
email, within 24 hours of signing up for a class. Invoices are payable online via credit
card, or at SSAI’s office via cash or credit card. Any client who does not make payment
within the given timeframe will forfeit their spot in the class and be moved to the end of
the waiting list. After payments are made a confirmation email will be sent to the client.
Class spots are not guaranteed without a confirmation email.
Reservation Confirmations
Reservations are not officially confirmed until the client reserves a confirmation email
for the booked class. While confirmations are not required for entry to a reserved class
spot, we highly recommend you bring your confirmation email in case there is a
discrepancy.
Transferring Class Spots
Reservations are transferable. If for any reason the client cannot participate or attend
their paid for class, client may transfer their spot to another individual. The client who
purchased the spot can either email [email protected] with their transfer
request or the individual receiving the transferred spot may arrive to the class with a
printed out copy of the original clients confirmation email.
Our Cancellation Policy
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy on all classes. No refunds, for any reason, will be
issued past the 48 hour mark. However, you may transfer your spot in the class to
another person as per our transferring class spot policy.
Cancellations made prior to 48 hours of the class will be issued a full refund.
All cancellations are final and the clients spot will be given up immediately after the
refund is issued.
Class Cancellations or Changes
If a class is cancelled all clients will either be allowed credit for a future class or a full
refund.
If a class time or date changes all clients in the class will be notified of the change and
their information will be automatically transferred over.
If a class time or date is changed within the 48 hour refund timeframe, all clients in the
class will be given a window of time to cancel and receive a full refund.
Class Credit
If a client receives Credit, it must be used within 3 months of the credit being received.
All credit on file for longer than 3 months will be forfeited.
General Rules
All clients must be on time. Any clients arriving 10 minutes after the start of the class
without informing an SSAI employee will forfeit their spot in the class. Doors to all
classes will be closed 15 minutes after start time.
If a teacher runs late and the class is pushed over an hour past the scheduled time,
refunds will be given to any clients that cannot stay. If the class is pushed less than
hour refunds will not be given.
Classes may occasionally last longer than their scheduled time, if a client needs to
leave early refunds and partial refunds will not be given.
SSAI reserves the right to deny any client from participating in classes for any reason.
If SSAI denies entry to a class prior to the class starting a full refund will be given.
However, if a client is disruptive in a class and is asked to leave while the class is in
progress no refund will be given and that client will no longer be welcome back in any
SSAI classes.
Our Instructors
All of our Instructors are working Industry Professionals. They are scheduled in
advance. Any changes to where they work, who they work with, or what they are
working on may change before the class takes place. It is not SSAI’s responsibility to
inform the clients of any of these changes that take place. We will only be reaching out
in regards to the teachers if something prevents them from fulfilling the date they are
scheduled.
Privacy Policy
SSAI collects information from our clients when they sign up for a class. All information
given to SSAI is on a voluntary basis and our clients understand that SSAI will use this
information for the following reasons.
SSAI will send periodic emails to clients. SSAI reserves the right to share emails with
other companies under the same umbrella as SSAI, including but not limited to Thespis
LLC, Dream Big Casting LLC, and Space Station Casting Studios LLC. The emails sent
will include but not be limited to, newsletters, confirmation emails, emails to improve
customer service, and emails about upcoming opportunities. Clients will be able to opt
out of certain emails by unsubscribing. A valid email must be given in order to receive
a confirmation email. Class spots are not guaranteed without a confirmation email.
Disclosing any client information to outside parties.
SSAI does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally
identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist SSAI in
operating our website, conducting our business, or improving our services, so long as
those third parties agree to keep client information confidential. We may also release
client information when SSAI believes the release is appropriate to comply with the law,
enforce our site policies, or protect ours or other rights to property or safety.
Your Consent

Changes to our Privacy Policy
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page. We
will inform our clients, at our discretion, if we feel the policy change warrants an
announcement.
