40th Summer in Operation
May, 2015
After that cold and rainy winter, Spring Break camp was wonderful-and we were
lucky to have a week of perfect weather! Now I’m getting impatient for summer to get
here.
The farm is beautiful now with trees leafing out and grass turning green. Horses
are shedding their winter coats (Toby, Roxy, Prince, Stella, Kryptonite “K”, and Bo).
There are new baby bunnies in rabbit nest boxes. I have bought a sweet baby Billy goat
(“Al” that is bottle-fed) to add to my herd. I can’t resist buying baby chicks from feed
stores when I see them, so I have several cages full of different varieties of them. All of
my dogs can’t wait for lots of company from you kids (Charlie, Gracie, Liza, Foxie and
Lexi)-and the 2 new puppies I got last fall are a great addition. They loved Spring Break
camp (Sophie Hu and Lila Grace).
Farm animals, my counselors and I more than ever are looking forward to Summer
2015, the 40th year of Ashton Farm!
Hope to see you!
Come be part of “our” FUN!!
