Cardboard Recycling
We would like to remind you to break down all cardboard boxes to better facilitate our
recycling program. This will ensure efficient space inside the bins and a more
effective and cleaner area. Unfortunately any boxes not broken down will not be
taken away for recycling. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Battery Recycling Program
We would like to remind all of our tenants about our battery recycling program at 444
– 5th Avenue SW. Batteries can be dropped off at the Building Operators office on the
main floor beside the elevator bank.
The battery recycling processors extract useable chemicals and metals to be used in
the manufacture of new products. Waste products are responsibly and safely
disposed of according to Responsible Recycling (R2) and Basel Action Network
(BAN) standards. All recycling occurs in North America. No waste materials from the
recycling process are exported out of the country or disposed of in a landfill.
Please note the following battery types will be accepted:
¾
Rechargeable batteries (Li-Ion, SSLA/Pb) and Lithium Primary. Example cell
phones, AA, etc.
¾ Alkaline, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd (AAA, AA, C, D, 9V, etc.)
Batteries not accepted:
¾ Automotive or industrial machinery batteries
If you have any questions please contact Magan Karmali by phone: 403-216-2247.
