Roman Shade Style 1 – Playful
Style description
Standard flat Roman Shade

Unlined only.

Banding available in 1.5” and 3.5” width (add S4.25 retail per inch height regardless of fabric choice).

Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Transparent cord pulling tape with loops on window side of fabric. Suitable for both plain and patterned
fabrics. This tailored style is an excellent choice for fabrics with large scale patterns that look best
uninterrupted.

Min. W: 13” - Min. L: 20” - Max W: 118” - Max. L: 83” (chain system).
Note: Fabrics can have different maximums e.g. when using wide-width fabric.


Roman Shade Style 2 – Contemporary
Style description
Knife pleat Roman – Rods are placed on the backside
of the shade using color coordinating rod tape. The rod
tape keeps the face side semi-smooth with subtle
ripples at the rods.

Unlined only.

Banding available in 1.5” and 3.5” width (add S4.25 retail per inch height regardless of fabric choice).

Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Rods are stitched onto the window side of the shade using a rod tape with a matching color. This
contemporary style is an excellent choice for fabrics with large scale patterns that look best uninterrupted.


Roman Shade Style 3 – Traditional
Style description
Knife pleat Roman – This is the traditional U.S. style.
Rods are seamed into the actual fabric creating a
distinct seam to the front of the shade.

Unlined only.

Banding available in 1.5” and 3.5” width (add S4.25 retail per inch height regardless of fabric choice).

Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Rods are stitched onto the window side of the shade creating the pleats when drawn. Most fabrics look
good with this style, but it should be noted that the rods do interrupt the pattern.


Roman Shade Style 4 – Luxurious
Style description
Knife pleat Roman – Rods are place at the backside of
the shade. The rod pocket is made with the same fabric
as the shade and then attached to the back. Ideal for
patterns that look best uninterrupted.

Unlined only.

Banding available in 1.5” and 3.5” width (add S4.25 retail per inch height regardless of fabric choice).

Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Rods are stitched onto the window side of the shade with the same fabric as the Roman shade fabric.
Like Style 2 this style is an excellent choice for fabrics with large scale patterns that look best
uninterrupted.


Roman Shade Style 5 – Traditional Lined
Style description
Knife pleat – This style, the rods are sewn into the
lining of the shade. This allows for a smooth front
shade. Ideal lined solution for patterns that look best
uninterrupted.

Lined only – 5 lining fabrics available, but you can also choose another fabric from our collection.

Banding available in 1.5” and 3.5” width (add S4.25 retail per inch height regardless of fabric choice).

Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Rods are stitched into the lining. Excellent choice for both plain and patterned fabrics, because the
pattern will not be interrupted by the rods.


Roman Shade Style 7 – Soft Fold
Style description
Hobbled Roman – This lined shade has soft folds
giving it a more traditional look. Keep in mind that the
folds will interrupt the pattern of the fabric.

Lined only – 5 lining fabrics available, but you can also choose another fabric from our collection.

Banding available in 1.5” and 3.5” width (add S4.25 retail per inch height regardless of fabric choice).

Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Rods are stitched into the lining. The soft flow of this style is created by hobbling the face fabric onto the
lining at regular 7” intervals. Please note that when using a pattern with a large repeat, the pattern will be
interrupted at each fold.


Style description
Ripple fold Roman – This shade has the rods sewn into
the front of the fabric giving it a more modern look.

Unlined only.



Continuous chain system is standard. For cord system: deduct $52.50 and for TDBU: add $163 (retail).

Rods are stitched onto the face side of the shade for a modern twist. Suitable for both plains as patterned
fabrics, because the pattern will only be marginally interrupted.

