ATHFEST EDUCATES ANNOUNCES MORE BANDS FOR
2015 ATHFEST MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL JUNE 26-28
(April 2, 2015)----AthFest Educates announced more bands for the 2015 AthFest Music and
Arts Festival outdoor stages line-up today, with Stokeswood, Kuroma, and T. Hardy Morris & The
Hardknocks joining the line-up with of Montreal for Saturday night, and We Love Tractor joining the
line-up Sunday night with The Baseball Project. We Love Tractor, a reincarnate of Love Tractor, will
feature Armistead Wellford, Mark Cline, Jay Gonzalez, Bryan Poole, Joe Rowe and Bill Berry.
Headliners for some of the AthFest Club Crawl shows were also announced, with Roadkill
Ghost Choir, and Dead Confederate playing the Georgia Theatre Friday night, and Family and Friends
Saturday night. Cracker and The Whiskey Gentry will headline the 40 Watt on Friday.
AthFest Music and Arts Festival takes place this year June 26th-28th in downtown Athens, GA
and is a free, three-day festival featuring music on three outdoor stages, including a stage at KidsFest, a
kid-focused mini festival and an artist market. New to this year’s festival are VIP areas with special
perks, advance sale of merchandise, including Matt Blanks designed t-shirts and tank tops, and bundled
packages for greater values. Club Crawl wristbands are on sale now for their lowest price at $20, and
include discounts at affiliated events during AthFest, including LaughFest, Flagpole Music Awards,
Wired Electronic Festival, and various rock docs at Cine.
AthFest Educates is a non-profit organization that advances high-quality music and arts
education for local youth and the Athens community through direct support of school and communitybased programs and events, including an annual music and arts festival. To date, AthFest Educates has
awarded nearly $200,000 to support music and arts programs for Athens youth.
