Women’s Varsity Cross Country Running Assistant Coaching Position St. Mary’s University Athletics and Recreation Department Closing Date: June 15, 2015 St. Mary’s University Department of Athletics and Recreation invites applications for the Cross Country Running Assistant Head Coach Position. Lightning Athletics is a leader in promoting academic, athletics and personal excellence through the participation in intercollegiate sports. Our intercollegiate teams compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and within Canada (CCAA). St. Mary’s is seeking an Assistant Coach to help develop and maintain a competitive program that encourages integrity, sportsmanship, honesty and respect. The ability to establish positive relationships with student athletes, staff and faculty, peers, media and the basketball community is essential. Responsibilities: Assisting the head coach with developing and maintaining an active, focused recruiting plan Assisting the head coach with organizing and running practices and attending competitions, meetings and team functions.
