This year the Atlanta Radio Club and The Kennehoochee ARC will be hosting the 86th
Atlanta Hamfest. We look forward to seeing you take part in one of the longest running
hamfests in the country.
We are working hard to make your hamfest experience enjoyable. Setup time will be
Friday June 5, 12pm-8pm and Saturday June 6, 6am-800am. We have continued to receive very good feedback from last years event, so let us know if you have any ideas,
suggestions, or requests as you attend in 2015 or any future event.
The 2015 Atlanta Hamfest is being held at Jim R. Miller Park, a Cobb Co. recreation
facility, in Marietta, Georgia. This is a 116 acre park/fairgrounds with a lake and RV/
Camping areas which include water, electricity, and showers. There are two airconditioned halls, an outside covered show ring, concessions plaza, and unlimited tailgating space.
Make your reservations now so that we may include your name and website on as
much of our advertising as possible.
Just a reminder for past Atlanta Hamfest vendors: Let us know if you want the same
area you had last year. Also, let us know of any thoughts you might have on the current facility, layout, or dates. Thank you again for your support.

Set-up Notes and Rules...
Commercial Vendors will be permitted into the main buildings on Friday 12-8PM and
Saturday 6-8AM. The main hall opens to the public at 8:00AM on Saturday. Sales
activity is permitted only during the hours the hamfest is officially open.
Security will be provided on site Friday and Saturday. Halls will be locked by Cobb
County Police at 8PM on Friday and opened again at 6AM on Saturday. Vendors are
encouraged to secure their displays at other times or in all other areas of the fairgrounds. This county facility is also home of the local police precinct and the office is
located adjacent to main buildings
Vendor spaces in the main buildings are by table, tables measure approx 8’x32” Table
cloths or drapes are not provided.
Electricity is provided inside the main buildings but vendors MUST bring their own AC
extension cords. Outlets are located usually within 20 feet of each table. There is no
charge for electricity.
Vendors who wish to donate items as door prizes are greatly appreciated, please contact hamfest staff before the event or upon your arrival. Doing so before the event allows us to advertise your donation.
Please, no sales of pornography will be allowed. Sales of guns is prohibited. We have
allowed a few folks in the past to offer knife sharpening services, so we do not encourage sales of knives but do allow those wishes to offer repair services such as mentioned above.
R/V and camping is permitted, we have plenty of space along the lake, in designated
areas to park (with hook-ups) or throw out a tent. You will have access in and out of
the fairgrounds overnight. Registration for R/V and camping is not necessary .
Vendor badges will be issued at check-in, please wear them so that staff can identify
you more easily during the day on Saturday.
Parking: When arriving at the fairgrounds enter through the marked vendor entrance
and proceed to the “A” building for registration. Parking is available on the back side of
each building giving you easy access to your vehicles.
