Today’s announcements for 1/8/2015 are as follows
1. Jr. High Volleyball Signup Sheet is in the office for girls interested in playing Volleyball in Grades 6th –
8th. Practices will start the end of January 2015. Season will start in March 2015.
2. Attention ALL Seniors & Parents/Guardians of Seniors – FAFSA Workshop (Free Application for
Federal Student Aid) will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the High School Computer Lab @
6:30pm. Presenter: Robert Roose-Director of Financial Aid, Alpena Community College.
-FAFSA questions answered by local expert, Complete your FAFSA during workshop, Create options for
your future, Bring tax information for current year, or last year, Coordinated by TRiO Talent Search
3. Student Council meeting Friday, January 9th at 2:05 p.m.
4. Boys Basketball Game tonight in Atlanta, bus leaves at 4:30 game is at 6:00 p.m.
5. ONE GAME ONLY on Friday, January 9th VARSITY Girls Basketball HOME against Atlanta will be played
at 6pm. Atlanta does not have a JV team.
6. SADD officers meeting TODAY during lunch hour in Ms. Pontius’s Room
7. Ski Club Meeting Friday in commons area at 12noon. Any questions please see Monica Bartz.
8. NO DRINKS except WATER are permitted in the classroom OR Hallways. Please respect the rules! They
apply to ALL STUDENTS!
9. TBCHS Dental will be coming to Posen Schools in the near future. Students recently received a consent
form to take home for cleaning, fluoride varnish application and sealants where needed according to
insurance guidelines and eligibility. Please complete the consent form with insurance information on or
before 1/13/15. In order to maintain accurate statistical information, we request the form be returned
even if you choose not to have your child participate. Forms can be found on the school website
www.posenschools.com
10. Anyone leaving the school parking lot caught spinning their tires will lose their driving privileges.
Also, all students must park in the parking lot not on the sides of the building per Mr. Palmer!
