Diagonal Openwork Lace
R1: (RS) K1 (edge) *yfwd, k2tog* repeat to last stitch, k1 (edge).
R2 and 4: Purl.
R3: K1, k1, *yfwd, k2tog) repeat to last 2 stitches, k1, k1.
Repeat these 4 rows as set.
ABBREVIATIONS
Yfwd - yarn forward (bring the yarn to
the front).
INSTRUCTIONS
With 1 strand of Chick Angelic
chunky yarn and 7mm needles, cast
on 40sts and knit in
Diagonal Openwork Lace until 2
skeins have been completed. Bind off
all sts loosely.
TO MAKE UP
With a tapestry needle, join together
the cast-on edge and the bind-off
edges.
