CONTRACT TERMS
 All student matinees begin promptly at 11:30am at the Martha Cohen Theatre in Arts Commons
(north side) 215 8 Avenue SE, Calgary
 All student matinees are followed by a Talk Back with the Artists after the performance.
 For every 12 student tickets purchased, you will receive one complimentary chaperone ticket.
 Additional chaperone tickets can be purchased at the student rate for school matinees ($15).
PAYMENT POLICY
 A 20% non-refundable deposit is required within 5 business days of receipt of this booking form to
confirm your order.
 FINAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS & FINAL PAYMENT are due five weeks prior to the performance date
 Accounts unpaid by final payment date (5 weeks prior to performance) will be released for sale to
schools on the waiting list without notification.
 Payment can be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express), cash or cheque
(payable to Alberta Theatre Projects). Listed prices are in Canadian funds and include GST
CHANGE/REFUND POLICY
 Refunds are not given to patrons who do not attend the performance
 Additional tickets can be booked up until 48 hours prior to the performance (subject to availability)

As part of our Education and Outreach Program at Alberta Theatre Projects,
we encourage those booking our Student Matinees to consider our additional
educational programming to enrich learning beyond the stage and
complement the matinee performance your students attend:






Conversations With Artists – ATP artists come to your classroom to
chat about any aspect of theatre and our productions. (FREE)
Backstage Tours – visit behind-the-scenes of the Martha Cohen
Theatre and shops (FREE)
Job Shadowing – Come through our doors and shadow any of our
theatre professionals for as long as you like. Teachers are welcome!

That $10 Ticket Thing – Each show in our season has one evening dedicated to discounted tickets
for students. Students can enter to win prizes and stay for a post-show chat with the artists.
Student Writers Group (SWG) – November - March program for blossoming playwrights in
grades 9-12. Our SWG applications open each September.
D. Michael Dobbin Apprenticeship – 35 week gap year program for post Grade 12 students to
learn from every department at Alberta Theatre Projects
