Atronix Distributed Architecture (ADATM) represents a new approach to system control,
design, installation, and commissioning. Instead of using the traditional central control
panel that consumes valuable floor space, ADA’s patent-pending modular solution distributes
the controls where they’re needed, eliminating long
runs of wiring and the infrastructure that comes with it.

into a spare port. When all ports are full, simply
add another ADA panel.

With ADA, control components and motor control are mounted on or near conveyors.
Here is how it works:
• A power distribution panel or panels carry 480V power to groups of ADA modules.
• Power is connected in a daisy chain between ADA modules up to a total of 30 amps, greatly
reducing the power distribution home runs and expensive conduit and wiring typically used.
• A control module contains the PLC, which communicates with other ADA modules
(typically via Ethernet).
• A typical design puts ADA modules no more than 50 feet from your I/O and
motor connections.
• ADA modules are compact and flexible, so they can be mounted where they
are needed without affecting the system layout.
