This is the estimated expenses while attending Atlantic University School of Medicine. Apartments in
St. Lucia begin anywhere from $350 and up including utilities, depending on size, location, and
accommodations. Not included in this estimate is travel to and from St. Lucia. Many students elect to
remain in St. Lucia during the breaks and airline costs vary considerably depending upon advanced
bookings and departures times.
During the clinical science program students are not required to pay any additional weekly fees
directly to hospitals, physicians, hidden fees, or weekly charges during its clinical training program.
Students are responsible for paying malpractice insurance and acquiring a Visa if necessary for
rotations in the US and UK. AUSOM will assist with the necessary steps to acquire your visa but no
guarantees of acquisition can be made.
TUITION AND FEES FOR CLINICAL MEDICINE
Fifth semester students and clinical students must pay their tuition and fees in full 60 days prior to
registration. Subsequent semesters are due 60 days prior to matriculation. There is no refund for
clinical tuition once rotations have been scheduled.
TUITION REFUND POLICY
The amount of the refund for students who withdraw from the school in any term is: 90% before the
first
day; 50% refund before the tenth day and 0% refunded if 10 days or beyond.

A request for withdrawal is not valid unless submitted in writing to the Dean of Basic Sciences or the Dean
of Clinical Sciences.
