Accommodation
Accommodation arrangements in the Albury/Wodonga area for the Reunion will be a personal
responsibility.
However, accommodation venues in the Albury CBD have been contacted, and have advised the
following rates for members attending the Reunion. Please note, the AAAA does not guarantee either
the rates or that accommodation will be available at the respective venues. When they were approached
in February 2015, they all had vacancies over the Reunion weekend. However, no accommodation has
been reserved by the AAAA for Reunion delegates. Accommodation can also be arranged through
various on-line websites such as WOTIF.
Reunion attendees are encouraged to arrange their accommodation bookings as early as possible, as
there is likely to be considerable demand for accommodation in the Albury area over the Reunion
weekend.

Pavers and Plaques
The Apprentices Memorial is dedicated to all Apprentices who supported the Australian Army in war
and peace, and in particular to those who sacrificed their life in defence of Australia. It provides an
opportunity for all Apprentices and their families to permanently record by means of plaques or
inscribed pavers, their record of their place as an Army Apprentice. Anyone wishing to have a plaque
or paver installed prior to the Reunion is requested to visit http://austarmyapprentice.org/aasmemorial/pavers-and-plaques for more information. Advice on wording or layout of plaques and
pavers, or photos of installed items can be obtained by contacting Greg Mulcahy at
[email protected]. In order for new plaques or pavers to be installed prior to the Reunion,
orders should be placed as early as possible and must be received by no later than 1 August 2015. Orders
for plaques and pavers are independent of Reunion registrations.
