Chris is a leading communications figure in the Asia Pacific and
manages Huntsworth’s Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Grayling and
Huntsworth Health businesses in the region.
In addition to being responsible for our teams, products and
services, Chris is driving our expansion in Asia Pacific through
both organic and inorganic growth. She is also a vital link
between our clients and teams in Asia and Huntsworth’s 73 principal offices in 28
countries worldwide.
Chris has 20 years of communications and business leadership experience across the
region, with a special focus on China.
She provided strategic counsel to clients from a wide range of industries, including
technology, media, finance, healthcare, education and mining and energy. Her areas
of expertise include corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, executive
communications training, issues and crisis management and social media
communications.
Chris has advised many Fortune 500 companies at the C-suite level in how to position
their brands to make inroads into Asia. She has also introduced Chinese multinationals
to the global stage. Her clients have included IBM, Lenovo, Rio Tinto, Philips, Bayer,
Google, PayPal, Twitter and CKGSB.
Before she joined Huntsworth, Chris was the Asia-Pacific Managing Director of The
Hoffman Agency, a global technology PR consultancy. While there, she led offices in
Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore and a network of affiliates.
Before that, she worked eight years at Text 100 Public Relations, with the first three
years in Sydney as Business Development Manager for Asia-Pacific followed by five
years as Managing Director of Greater China heading up the firm’s Beijing, Shanghai
and Hong Kong operations.
Chris is a frequent speaker at various PR industry forums around Asia Pacific and a
guest lecturer at several EMBA programs of top universities in the region.
