CAPITAL READINESS & 10 EASY STEPS TO
REDUCE THE COSTS OF
RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS
Peter Duff, Partner, Newport Board Group
Description: Entrepreneurial and Middle Market
Companies do not prepare themselves well for an
equity infusion, a bank financing or a general recapitalization. The steps necessary to achieve a
successful financing event will be explored. The
emphasis will be on "risk management" and the
preparation required well ahead the event to
achieve a lower perceived risk and a better deal
as a result. Following the presentation on Capital
Readiness and the preparatory steps required to
get equity, debt or credit lines, the focus will be
on achieving cost reductions. In the presentation
Peter focuses on 10 areas where cost reductions
had been achieved resulting from his initiatives.
Peter stresses the “How to" on these cost reductions but will welcome a discussion from participants on their experiences and approaches on
these 10 cost reduction initiatives.
