One of the best ways to enjoy the vintage car hobby is to partake in the many
Concours‘ d Elegance [Vintage car events] presented around the country this
summer. But, remember, bring a youngster or two with you. It will open their
minds in ways you never imagined.
You & they won’t believe the experience. The excitement of seeing rare,
beautifully restored or Preservation Class automobiles, motorcycles and even
vintage travel trailers will tap into fresh minds, just like it did for you! Total
inspiration will occur.
Of course, there are many more events in your neighborhood. Just check the
local clubs for car events in your area. Start by searching on the Internet.
Don’t forget to bring your camera, as the images you share with family and
associates will produce more fans. Such events will inspire you to do your own
projects. You will discover interesting hints and ideas on what other restorers,
entrants, owners, and enthusiasts have done to solve problems with their cars.
You will find these people to be more than helpful and you may gain new friends.
That’s what this addiction is all about!
