APSS - Unified Communications Curriculum and Credential Updates Overview Avaya Learning is pleased to introduce updated curriculum and a new Online Test for the APSS – Unified Communications credential in June 2015. Curriculum Updates The following curriculum associated with the APSS - Unified Communications credential is available now. Additional training offers will be announced in subsequent articles through June. 2U00270W – Selling Avaya Unified Communications Clients Components Course: In this course, you will be introduced to the Avaya Unified Communications Clients including: Avaya Communicator for Android, Windows, iPhone, iPad, and for Microsoft Lync 6.4, (formerly Avaya Client Applications or ACA). Avaya VDI Communicator, while not part of the Avaya Communicator Client Portfolio, is also covered in this course. This course will cover the features and benefits for each, and explore the target customers and industries; discuss the value proposition; it will also examine competitors in the Unified Client space; and it will cover how to counter customer objections to our UC Clients. 2U00280W - Avaya UC Messaging Heritage Components Course: This course provides a high-level overview of Avaya UC Messaging Heritage Components. This course looks at functionality, capabilities, and business values of the various components that make up the of Avaya UC Heritage Messaging solutions, the challenges they solve, and identifies target customers and industries. Slip sheets augment existing web-based training with corrected, new or other information about products and business solutions. With the release of the updated curriculum, Avaya Learning releases the APSS Unified Communications Online Tests (#4400T and 4400TCHS) on 27 June 2015 through the Avaya Learning Center, www.avaya-learning.com. Test Code 4400T 4400TCHS Title APSS Unified Communications Online Test (English) APSS Unified Communications Online Test (Chinese) Duration Availability Date 1 hr 27 June 2015 1 hr 27 June 2015 In conjunction with the new training and Online Test for the APSS - Unified Communications credential, the following Online Tests retire. Test Code 2U00210A 2U00211A Title APSS Unified Communications Online Test (English) APSS Unified Communications Online Test (Chinese) Duration Retirement Date 1 hr 27 June 2015 1 hr 27 June 2015 Students who have completed training, but have not yet completed Online Test #2U00210A or #2U00211A will need to do so prior to 27 June 2015. Individuals holding the APSS – Unified Communications credential today will continue to hold this credential until the expiration date reflected on their credential record in the Avaya Credential Management System (CMS). To renew their credential, existing credential holders may complete either of the new APSS Unified Communications Online Tests (#4400T or 4400TCHS) once released but prior to the expiration date reflected on their credential record in the Avaya Credential Management System (CMS). Starting 180 days prior to the individual expiration date reflected on the students credential transcript, a Credential Expiration Warning will be sent to the email on record of the Credential Account.
