ENSC, expressing your opinions, providing input on important topics, asking
questions or leaving us a compliment.
If you would like a response, simply include your contact information. However,
you may remain anonymous. All of your input will be read, reviewed and taken
into consideration. Let’s Talk! is not intended to replace face-to-face meetings. If
you have questions about your child’s academic experience, please contact your
child’s teacher directly.
Let’s Talk! also should not be used for emergency situations. If this is an emergency, please contact the ENSC central office at 260-347-2502 or your local police department at 911.

This and that…..
As we enter into the last stretch of the school
year, this is the time many classes partake in
educational field trips. With these excursions
comes an expense.
ENROLLMENT FOR 2015-2016
DID YOU KNOW THAT FIELD TRIP COSTS
ARE KEPT TO A MINIMUM BECAUSE OF
MONEY FROM OUR FUNDRAISERS?
THAT’S RIGHT!
While the total cost might be $6.00 for the first
grade trip, we will only be charging $1.00 and
the rest will be paid for from funds generated
from the profits of our fundraiser. The same is
true for all of our trips. AND… at NO time will
a child ever be left out because of a funding issue. If the cost is too much to bear on the household budget, let us know and we will gladly help
out, in hopes that when we need an hour or so
of your time, you can help us.
As we plan for the 2015-2016
school year, it is VERY important
that we have a good idea of how
many students will be enrolled. If
you KNOW that your child will not
be a student with us next year,
PLEASE let us know as soon as
possible. Your help is GREATLY
Our PTO Carnival is slated for April 24th!
Mark your calendars now for a great family time!
We HAVE to have some help in order for this to
occur. Please strongly consider helping for an hour.
This still leaves plenty of time to enjoy the carnival
with your family! Please call Mr. Pine to sign up!

Elementary school parents may choose to state preferences about their child’s
classroom assignment for the coming school year. A form is now available in the
Avilla office upon request. It allows parents to identify the teaching styles (NOT
PARTICULAR TEACHERS) they believe most compatible with their child’s needs
and personality. Teachers will study those as they develop class lists for the
coming year. The school needs those returned by Friday, May 22nd. The school
reserves the right to assign students to specific teachers, and attempts to balance numerous factors, i.e. boy-girl ratio, ability levels, and behavioral consideraDid you know that all medication at the school must be picked up by a parent
at the end of the school year? We are unable to send ANY medication home
with your child. Please make arrangements to pick this up prior to June 10th.
Any medication left at school after this date will be thrown away.
