Functional Description
Based on an ITU standard frame, FADS-100TR (1 Video) series are significantly designed for fiber optic seamless
transmission over long distances. Following the Optic-in & Coaxial-out trend, the fiber optic transmission in CCTV surveillance
system can provide wide bandwidth advantage for video and map one uncompressed video into one fiber.
Naturally FADS-100TR series are fully capable of dual way for the video transmission, the most CCTV surveillance
application is transmitting one way video from the R to T site.
The transmitter of FADS-100R (camera side) converts one video into digital signals and maps it into a standard format
frame over a single fiber link to the receiver FADS-100T (monitor side) then returns the light into electrical analog video
signals.
