Garvan has its roots in the true passion for sound and loudspeakers of its two co-founders, Andrea Martelli
and Roberto Gaudenzi. Because our products are completely handmade and the materials used are carefully

Questa serie di amplificatori comprende due modelli: l’AT440 2/1 canali, studiato per riprodurre
fedelmente il vostro brano musicale e film, e l’AW440 2/1 canali, dedicato alle basse frequenze
dei subwoofer. Quest’ultimo è dotato di un filtro passa basso a 18 dB/ottava che opera nel campo
di frequenze da 40 a 150 Hz, un regolatore di fase da 0° a 180° e un Bass Eq a 45 Hz da 0 a + 6
dB. Caratteristica distintiva della serie è la speciale circuitazione in classe D sulla base della tecnologia ICE Power®, che permette di ottenere una potenza in uscita di 440W RMS in modalità mono
su un carico di 4 ohm e 120W RMS + 120W RMS in modalità due canali su 4 ohm. Entrambi i
modelli sono dotati di protezione termica e sovracorrente, avvio trigger 12V e l’auto accensione
in presenza di segnale, che consentono l’installazione in qualsiasi situazione. Le ridotte dimensioni e gli accessori permettono di installarli in appoggio, ad incasso e con un sistema modulare
caratterizzato da una flangia a due unità rack che supporta fino a quattro moduli amplificatore.
This amplifier series includes two models: AT440 2/1 channel amplifier, especially designed to
deliver a faithful, detailed reproduction of music and movies, and AW440 2/1 channel amplifier,
especially designed for the low frequencies delivered by subwoofers. The latter is equipped with
an adjustable low pass crossover at 18dB/octave with variable frequencies 40-150 Hz, a phase
adjustment 0° to 180° and a bass equalizer 0-6 dB at 45 Hz. A peculiar feature of the series is
the class D circuitry based on ICE Power® technology, which enables the amplifiers to achieve
an output power of 440W RMS in mono mode at 4 ohm and 120W RMS + 120W RMS at 4 ohm.
Both models are provided with thermal and overcurrent protection, 12V trigger system and automatic on/off by audio signal, they can therefore be installed in any situation. Their small size and
accessories make them perfectly suitable for freestanding installation, in-wall installation and
installation with a 2U rack mounting frame that can house up to 4 amplifier modules.
