MEXI
■
For this year’s Day Trip, Baja Presbyterian Missions is packing it in for a fabulous journey on Interstate 8 East over the Lagunas and through the AnzaBorrego Desert to Mexicali, capitol city of Baja California, Mexico. It’s about two
hours away, just across the US-MX border from El Centro and Calexico.
This is a relationship-building trip linking mission-minded folks in churches in
San Diego Presbytery with brothers and sisters in Christ in churches in the Mexican Presbytery -- the Presbiterio Fronterizo Noroccidental. Travelling in three
15-passenger vans, we plan to visit three mission churches and the Mexican
Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Mexicali. And we’ll learn about the unique
partnership BPM enjoys in support of the Lord’s work in Mexicali with Korean
Presbyterians in the PCUSA, and with missionaries sent to Baja California by the
National Presbyterian Church of Korea. It’s going to be a full and joyful day!
