February/March 2015 Spiritual Journeys We are all on a spiritual journey. How has the way you believe evolved? Who and what events were milestones along your path? Come and hear several of your friends share their spiritual journeys. February 15, 9:50 am – Dr. Susan Riblett and Dolores Behrouzy-­‐Far •
Susan obtained her first graduate degree in chemistry, which landed her a job at Kodak and a move to Rochester. While here, she decided to attend Colgate-­‐Rochester-­‐Crozier Divinity School, and now has an M Div as well. Dolores is an occupational therapist, working with children with developmental delays from birth to five years of age. Many of these children are on the Autism spectrum. February 23, 9:50 am – Peter Oddleifson, Esq. Peter Oddleifson is a retired M anaging Partner at the Harris, Beach law firm. He and his wife Kay Wallace, as Third Presbyterian Church and Downtown Presbyterian Church representatives, advocated for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender ordination rights in the national Presbyterian Church for over 20 years. As a litigator, Peter defended Janie Spahr, Downtown Church, Third Church, the Presbytery of the Genesee Valley and the Presbytery of Northern New England. March 1, 9:50 am – Dr. Pat Youngdahl and •
Michal McKenzie Pat is our beloved minister, who also finds inspiration as a writer. Michal and Pat will soon celebrate 32 years together and, from the beginning, their journey has been nourished by their shared spiritual life. They have long practiced table prayers, hiking, birding, sharing spiritual readings, yoga, mindful-­‐
ness, and being in the present moment. Recently they have become students of T'ai Chi as well. •
