Chorus Edition March 2015 Heading ...And the winner is... Great Performances by the BAC! Please take a moment and help us congratulate the following BAC members for their recent accolades: I cannot express enough how very proud I am of the great performances put on by our BAC in the fall. From the Veteran’s Day Assembly and Holiday Concerts to the Holiday Sing-along, the kids are to be congratulated for their hard work and high caliber of music performed. And, as always parents, thank you so very much for your continued support! Spelling Bee: Paul Kwak, BAC 5 (system wide champion!) Girls Basketball: Tatum Ozment, BAC 5 (MVP & All-Star for GBL Buford team!) Science Fair: Tayte Taliafero, BAC 3 (gr. 3, 1st place) Shea Owings, BAC 3 (gr. 3, 2nd place) Sophie Brown, BAC 4 (gr. 4, 2nd place)  Arts Night at Buford Academy is our big chance to showcase the many talents of our students. Last year approximately 1500 people passed through the halls of BA enjoying the wide variety of artwork, the bookfair, the technology projects and, of course, the piano recital and BAC concerts. This year’s event is still in the planning stages but will include all these and even more. Look for the BAC to perform music from the “cute” to the “hilarious”, from Jamaica to Africa, and including a fun medley with the music of Ray Charles.
