Director’s message
As the end of financial year
approaches, it’s important
to get your finances in order.
At BankVic, we can help you
maximise your financial
wellbeing with our products
and services designed
specifically to suit your
needs.
It is with sadness that after 34 years of service our
branch will be leaving the Police Academy at the request
of Victoria Police. On behalf of the branch staff who have
thoroughly enjoyed the pleasure of serving our Police
members, Recruits and Academy staff, I’d like to extend
our sincere gratitude to all our members who have
patronised the branch over the years.

Academy branch closure and relocation of premises
Our Academy branch will be closing on 19 June
2015 at the request of Victoria Police.
We are indeed sad to be leaving after 34 years
of service to the Victorian Police community,
but respect Victoria Police’s decision and
the challenges currently being faced due to
security concerns.
Please be assured our management team are currently
working on a relocation plan as a priority and are
assessing alternative suitable locations to ensure our
members’ needs can be met in the best possible way. We
intend to relocate in a timely manner but this is dependant
upon securing a suitable location and enabling the branch
facilities. If you have an interest in the Academy branch
relocation, we would appreciate if you could take the time
to complete a quick survey. To complete the survey you
can call and talk to one of our friendly staff, visit a branch
or fill in the survey at bankvic.com.au/academysurvey
As previously communicated, our Academy branch is
currently restricted to Police, Public Service (VPS)
members and retired police members who can produce
their stamped identification. We apologise for any
inconvenience this may cause and request you consider
the following options for any assistance you may need:
> Call 13 63 73 (8am – 5pm AEST)
>Visit our Monash Clayton, World Trade Centre, Carlton
or upcoming City West (opening 1 June) branches as an

We appreciate your patience and thank you for your

What’s on with our ‘CGU Win a Car promotion’
and your last chance to win a Honda CRV*!
BankVic in conjunction with CGU Insurance
are offering our biggest prize to members yetthe chance to win a brand new Honda CRV!
Since the competition began in February 2015, our
competition car has been making the rounds at various
road shows organised at member locations such as
Warrnambool, Wangaratta and East Gippsland just to
name a few.
In addition, as part of the promotion, several exciting
barbeque events have been organised at our health and
police partner locations at Monash Health, the Royal
Women’s hospital, Alfred Health, Northern Health and
the World Trade Centre complex. This gave members an
opportunity to chat to our Member Relationship Managers
about their insurance needs, get a comprehensive quote or
purchase insurance whilst enjoying a sausage sizzle and
winning some great prizes! It was a pleasure to see
members support these events and proceeds raised went to
various charities including The Alfred Foundation and the
Cancer Council.
But that’s not all, as we will continue to visit our partner
locations until the promotion ends in May 2015 - so keep
an eye out for us and come pay us a visit to learn more
and enter our ‘Win a Car’ promotion!
