New DVDs & Circulating Items __________________________________________________________________________________ How to Set Up Your Own “eLibrary”Account Visit our web page www.mineralcountylibrary.org and click on Catalog. Notice the Quick Search Catalog icon with the red check mark just below the logo. Once you’re on the Montana Shared Catalog page: 1. Click on “Login to My Library Account” on the dark blue toolbar near the top of the page. “My Library Account” box will appear. 2. Enter in the box (use all caps, no spaces) your 14-Digit Barcode or Alternative ID #. New patrons should have a Barcode # -- obtained from the Librarian as part of Library Card account process. Alternate ID (known as Alt ID #s) were issued to Library Patrons prior to 2011. (Note: If you have an Alt ID, please upgrade to the Barcode Access #, as soon as possible/convenient.) 3. In the “PIN” box enter the PIN number you chose when you got your card, or, if you didn’t choose one, use CHANGEME (no spaces, all caps). Then click on “login.” From this new screen you can review your account, renew materials, change your PIN number, or even notify us of a change of address or phone number. Review My Account – will bring up a list of everything currently checked out on your record, along with its due date. Renew My Materials – will bring up a list of items eligible for renewal. To renew an item click on the box next to the title, then click on the light blue bar at the bottom that says Renew Selected Items. It will then bring up a screen with the new due date (or, if for some reason it did not renew, it will give you the reason). User PIN Change – If you want to change your PIN number, click on this box. Enter your new PIN number in the appropriate box, then re-enter it and click on Change PIN. Change My Address – Fill in each box with the new information and click on send.
