Mr Bruce Evans the owner of the former Hendre Mynach Hotel had in July 2008 been successful in securing Planning Approval for two dwellings on adjacent land within the extended curtilage of the Hotel. A copy of the approval was available for Councillors to view. While this Application was still current with Planning extant, Gwynedd Council Planning Policy unit in revising their Development Plan determined that the land on which Planning Approval had been granted was now excluded from the new Plan for Barmouth. Mr Evans is asking if Barmouth Town Council can now lend its support to Mr Evans request for the land parcel to be included with Barmouths Development Boundary before the expiration date of the consultation on the 31st March. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT Co-op Car Park 1-5 February After the last meeting I became increasingly aware that residents and businesses in Park Road were largely unaware of the proposal to open up a new entrance onto Park Road. I visited all the businesses, the Surgery and about 20 residences to ask what they knew about the Co-op's plans and it was very apparent that there had been minimal public consultation. I posted the plan of the new entrance on Facebook and within 24 hours there was a petition up-and-running. I kept all of the Town Council members in the email chain - so I don't need, here, to explain the process or the eventual outcome. Friday 30 January.... Meeting with B-Vag, Councillor G.
