2015 DIXIE BOYS BASEBALL
15U REGIONAL HOST – REGION #1
OZARK, ALABAMA
Ozark, Alabama will serve as host city for the 15U Regional Tournament. Region #1 of the
15U division is slated for June 17-21. Located in Southeast Alabama, Ozark is the best of both
worlds....a small town atmosphere with friendly people, yet close to larger cities and other
attractions. Ozark prides itself in being: A city for all seasons…. A city for all reasons…. The
Fort Rucker military installation is the Home of Army Aviation and is located just five miles
from Ozark. The U.S. Army Aviation Museum collection contains many one-of-a-kind aircraft
and includes one of the largest helicopter collections in the world.
The 15U regional tournament facility, Eagle Stadium was built in 1946 and has served as a
home to both professional and amateur baseball. The historic facility has been renovated, yet
still has the old time look of a 1950’s professional baseball stadium. The backdrop mixture of
residential and business surrounds the stadium and protrudes a calm and relaxing atmosphere
for the players and spectators alike. The more than adequate sheltered seating with ceiling fans
greatly enhances tournament viewing and spectator comfort. The City of Ozark has successfully
hosted many events, including now for several years the Alabama Community College State
Division Baseball Tournament at Eagle Stadium. Click link to view short video of the facility!
