Scarf (join as you go method) Motif 1 - Using 5.50mm (US I/9), (UK 5) Hook, mak 6ch, join with sl st to form a ring. 1st round - ch 4, tr ch1 11 times into ring, join with a sl st into 3rd ch of beg ch 4. 2nd round - ch 5, dc in next ch 1 sp 11 times. Ch 3 tr into base of beg ch 5. 3rd round - ch 1 dc into same loop, * 3 tr into next loop, work trp, 3 tr into same loop, dc into next loop, work grp, dc into same loop. Motif 2 - Work as for Motif 1 until 2nd last grp then work as follows. While working grp, ch 2, sl st into top of trp on Motif 1, then cont grp. Then work the trp as follows. Work as normal until ch 4 instead of ch 4, ch 2 sl st into top of grp on motif 1 then cont trp as normal. Work one more grp as above. Your motif should be joined in 3 places to 1st motif.
