Nov 20 – 8pm
Know for her crystal clear voice and iconic renditions of “Both

Chris Thile, of Punch Brothers, is a mandolin virtuoso, composer
and vocalist whose lyrical fusion of traditional bluegrass with

musical genres. On this new solo program, he draws from his
new Bach recording, while also exploring his own compositions
and contemporary music. A Special Event

CANTUS: The Four Loves
Jan 29 – 8pm
Love has been the inspiration for artistic expression since the
dawn of time. It is such a complex idea that the Greeks broke it
down into four kinds: romantic, familial, friendly and unconditional
love. Including works by Francis Poulenc, Eric Whitacre, Edvard
Grieg, Ludwig van Beethoven, Bobby McFerrin, and Ysaye Barnwell, The Four Loves looks at this unquantifiable emotion from all
sides. Cantus, called “intellectually, emotionally and musically
rich” (Star Tribune), is a nine-member men’s vocal ensemble
known worldwide for its trademark warmth and blend and its
engaging performances.
