COUNTRY GROCER
ROB JOHNSON
I have been a proud member of the B.C. Produce Marketing Association now for 11 years and on the Board of
Directors for the last 10 years. I have enjoyed the last 4 years as your Vice President and President this past year.
I am now up for re-election this year and very proud of all the wonderful projects that I have been a part of over
these years and this includes bringing you all our new website last year, working closely with CPMA launching
the new Half Your Plate program in B.C.. I have been your co-chair and now chair of ChildRun for 11 years. I have
been in the Produce Industry now for over 40 years and have worked in every part from Retail, Wholesale, Sales
& Marketing, Consulting and a Produce Director. I have also been working with all the Produce Growers in B.C.
in bringing their produce to my customers and in turn doing my part in increasing the consumption of produce
which has been always my goal for the BCPMA. I truly feel that we all still have so much more work to do in B.C.
and Canada to pass the passion of the Produce Industry on to the up and coming generations. So I am asking All
of you my very good friends and longtime associates to vote for me again in April.

NEWSTAR/ORGANIC GIRL
TODD PATTERSON
This is exciting for me as I was able to live and work in British Columbia for 10+ years. To this day, I continue my
love of this province by being present in the BC community at least once every 6 weeks.
I have held numerous positions in the produce industry at the National and International levels and continue to
work with growers from around the world to find best practices and new ideas. I have grown up in agriculture
(family farm), I understand the need for education, promotion and “giving back” (to the earth, communities and
people).
I currently operate my own produce marketing company, assisting suppliers from Canada with issues in the USA
and assisting International growers/packers/producers with assistance in government relations, customs, sales
and marketing. I am also involved with CPMA (organizing its first official “annual hockey tournament” in Montreal).
