Obtain an updated high school transcript (Summary Sheet obtained from school counselor) By the established due date, send all required documents using the above contact information Procedures to Enroll and Receive Textbooks: Student will be notified by HCC when application has been approved via a Registration Authorization form. Upon receipt of this form the student may proceed: o Meet with an HCC counselor to schedule courses and receive a fee waiver o Take fee waiver to Bursar Office; it is the student’s responsibility to submit the fee waiver to the Bursars office; failure to do so may result in the student being billed for the class. o Give a copy of your schedule to your school counselor o Print out a list of required textbooks and give this to your school counselor After completing a course: Return textbooks to BDCHS NO LATER than 5 working days after the last day of class at HCC An HCC transcript will automatically be sent to your high school, but check to make sure it is received HINTS: List alternate classes in case your first choice is unavailable (alternate courses must be approved) The earlier you apply the better Students are limited to 9 credit hours per semester If the PERT is taken at HCC; bring your school counselor the score report in an official, sealed envelope Only one (1) attempt per dual enrollment course (including withdrawals) The grades you earn in these classes will be a part of your college and high school transcripts.
