J.P. leads Beacon`s California Office, overseeing all aspects of

J.P. leads Beacon’s California Office, overseeing all aspects of planning and
development for projects throughout the State. As a member of the Beacon
Leadership Team, J.P. jointly manages the development pipeline, supervising staff
and projects in development. He possesses over ten years of affordable housing
project management experience, working on complex publicly funded projects
across the United States and particularly within the State of California.
J.P. established policies and procedures for an asset management system and
prepared site analyses and property assessments for affordable housing
rehabilitations. He oversaw all project vendors and contracts, prepared
proposals for public funding and developed pro formas for project operations
and development. At THC he participated in the development of one of the
first retrofitted extremely energy efficient Passive House multi-family projects
and successfully negotiated a long-term master joint-venture with a top-ten
national for-profit developer.
J.P. conducted financial analyses and investment and market feasibilities for
housing developments. He completed over 425 transactions while managing 11
various sales teams in downtown San Diego, with sales exceeding $350M while
contracted with Urban Housing Partners.
