Here, we've used them in harvest colors for some great soft-sculpture decorative pumpkins, designed by Miriam Rawson. The array of colors and patterns makes it easy to create a grouping like this one. Embellish with green primo plaid "leaves" and real tree branches for an eye-catching display full of color and texture. 980 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10018 y www.MarcusFabrics.com Primo Pumpkins Fabric by Marcus Fabrics Project by Miriam Rawson PAGE 2 of 3 Fabric Requirements: 1/3 yard fabric for each large-size pumpkin Fat quarters, or scraps for smaller pumpkins Fiberfill Twigs for stems Craft glue Instructions: (Template provided on Page 3 for various sizes) 1. Cut six of each pumpkin pattern and stitch two pieces, right sides together, with a ¼” seam allowance, leaving a 2” opening for turning. Note: Begin and end stitching ¼” from the pointed ends for easier assembly. 2. With the remaining four pieces, sew them together, two at a time, then stitch all three sets together. 3. Turn right side out and insert stuffing until firm. 4. Hand stitch opening closed, then make a hole in one end of pumpkin for ‘stem’ Dip the end of the stick into the glue and insert into the pumpkin. Let it dry. 5.
