Belle Meadows II NOTICE OF PROJECT AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FROM THE BELLMEAD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (BEDC) TO MAJESTIC HOMES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bellmead Economic Development Corporation intends to participate in a “Project”, as defined in the Development Corporation Act of 1979. This project has been named “Project BELLE MEADOWS II”. Public funds of the Bellmead Economic Development Corporation are being considered for Project BELLE MEADOWS II which may provide financial support in an amount up to an additional $200,000.00 grant for the purpose of expanding the development of Belle Meadows subdivision. Majestic Homes is requesting this additional $200,000.00 for Phase II due to the increased construction costs associated with this subdivision. The potential benefits to the city could be additional jobs and revenue for the citizens and the city through additional sales taxes, fees, property taxes and help to provide affordable housing.
