Dates/Time Available: 30 min vs. 60 min Lessons 6. Location: Online or In-‐Person – at 20 N. 3rd St. Philadelphia, PA 19106 7. Questions/Concerns: About billing/teaching process/sign up/special needs of students/etc. b. Students have lots of freedom when choosing lessons. They can pick either online or in-‐person lessons, in half hour or full hour time slots. We recommend that students attempt to have lessons at the same time each week, but the lesson time can vary week to week if need be. i.
Students must sign up for a month of lessons at a time. If you wish to have only one lesson in that month, sign up for one time-‐slot. If you wish to have more (ie: one lesson per week), then sign up for all time-‐slots you wish to take that month. You will be billed at the end of the month for all lessons included in that month. ii.
Once you have been signed up for lessons, you should receive an email or phone call from us the day before your first scheduled lesson, in order to re-‐confirm your sign-‐up. [email protected] 484-‐639-‐7880 Pg. 3 II.
The First Lesson a. You should receive a phone call the day before your first lesson, once again confirming the time/location of the lesson. If any changes need to be made, this is the time to do so, free of charge (see cancellation policy for more details). b. Students should be prepared to fill out a short introductory worksheet, which will help give focus and direction to their lessons in future; if the student has a particular song they wish to show/work on, they are more than welcome to bring some sheet music or a karaoke track to sing with. This helps give a great first impression, and can make students feel more comfortable in their first lesson. This is NOT REQUIRED. c. If you are not satisfied with your first lesson, you must call or email to give us notice BEFORE your next lesson. If you do so, we guarantee that the lesson will be free of charge to you, and all following lessons will be cancelled (free of charge).* i.
*This is only applicable to basic Singing Lessons (on a recurring schedule). Vocal Coaching and Songwriting Sessions do not apply. (See Cancellation Policy for more details). d. If any materials are necessary for the first lesson (or any subsequent lessons), we will discuss them beforehand. i.
You can pick up whichever materials you may need, and pay out of pocket. ii.
Alternatively, we can buy the materials/products needed, and provide you with receipts with your monthly invoice. You would be required to reimburse us when paying your monthly invoice. [email protected] 484-‐639-‐7880 Pg. 4 III.

Each invoice will list the details of each lesson from that month (online/in-‐person; hour/half-‐hour), and the amount owed. At the top of each invoice will be the due-‐date, and information on how to make payments. ***We can make an estimated invoice of your first month as soon as you are signed up for lessons, upon request. This will show you what your invoice would look like at the end of the month, to clarify pricing. YOU WOULD NOT NEED TO MAKE A PAYMENT ON THE ESTIMATE. b. Prices: i.

Cancellation Policy a. You are allowed to cancel any lesson (singing/vocal coaching/songwriting) 24+ hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. We strongly advise you not to cancel, but understand that issues do arise. If possible, you can call us to schedule a make-‐up lesson. i.
If WE cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, you will not have to pay for that lesson, as we have caused you a disservice. ii.
HOWEVER, if YOU cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, we do count you responsible for paying that lesson. b. You are allowed to cancel your FIRST LESSON (singing lessons ONLY) at ANY TIME. Since this is your first lesson, you are able to cancel at any time, completely free of charge. This only applies to recurring singing lessons, NOT vocal coaching or songwriting sessions. i.
If you DO have your first lesson, but are NOT SATISFIED with it, you must call or email to give us notice BEFORE your next lesson. If you do so, we guarantee that the taught lesson will be free of charge to you, and all following lessons will be cancelled. You will receive no invoice at the end of the month. ***Again, this applies only to regular Singing Lessons, not Vocal Coaching or Songwriting Sessions. c. ONLINE: Since online lessons can have all sorts of problems (slow internet connection/broken webcam/etc, you are allowed to cancel at in LESS THAN 24 HOURS, as long as you SCHEDULE A MAKE-‐UP LESSON. [email protected] 484-‐639-‐7880 Pg. 7 V.
Standard of Conduct a. Students must be respectful of location if taking In-‐Person lessons. In-‐
Person lessons will be taught at 20 N. 3rd St. Philadelphia, PA 19106, in the office of “Tamman Technologies, Inc.” who has kindly rented their location to us. Students and teacher agree to leave the premises in the same state that they were in upon arrival. b. For online lessons, students agree to be on time and prepared. Occasional connection issues will arise, and are acceptable (see Cancellation Policy), but students must have all equipment and resources available at the start of the lesson, in order to not waste time. c. Homework will occasionally be given to students, to practice before the next lesson. No homework is graded or evaluated, but it is important that students are dedicated to practicing and doing their homework in between lessons, in order to keep advancing in their talent. d. Dress code is casual. We want our students to feel comfortable in asking questions and learning at their own speed. Students are welcome to call/email at any time to discuss their lessons/technique/upcoming auditions or performances, etc. e. Most importantly, students should have fun! We strive to make our lessons engaging, creative, and enjoyable for our students – all that we ask is for them to bring some dedication, a fun attitude, and a willingness to learn! [email protected] 484-‐639-‐7880 Pg. 8 VI.
Performance Review a. Every so often, it is beneficial for us to conduct a performance review. In this case, we will ask for your permission/participation, in filling out a short survey about lessons. There will be questions pertaining to the student, and the person who deals with payments and sign-‐ups (whether that is the student or a parent/guardian). b. Performance reviews help us to ensure our students are receiving quality service, and help us make adjustments if need be in order to improve our business. They are completely anonymous and OPTIONAL, but highly suggested. c. If you ever have a complaint with our service, feel free to email/call us and discuss the particular issue, or you may request for us to send out a performance review. That way, your feedback will be anonymous, as we will request reviews from all customers/students currently under contract at that time. VII.
