The BWC will send a letter to all
state fund employers with an
estimated payroll they will use to
create the invoices used for the
2015-16 rating year. The
estimated payroll will be the
amount that the employer
reported from the period July 1,
2013 through June 30, 2014. If
you believe that your 2015-16
payroll will be significantly
different than that amount, you
can ask the BWC to adjust it
(either up or down.) The BWC will
also default all employers to a six
payment plan.
This invoice covers the period
September 1, 2015 to October
31, 2015. Payment is due by
August 31, 2015. At this time,
employers must also report
payroll for 6 months ending
6-30-15 by 8-31 (but pay $0).
This invoice covers the period
May 1, 2016 to June 30, 2016.
Payment is due by April 30, 2016.
Jun 2015
In June 2015, you will not receive
an invoice because the BWC’s
transition credit will cover this
one time only. However, going
forward in June 2016, an invoice
will be issued.

This invoice covers the period
November 1, 2015 to December
31, 2015. Payment is due by
October 31, 2015.

Filing & Reconciliation
The payroll report will report data
for the full policy year. The report
must be filed and paid (to the
Bureau) by August 15
immediately following the
conclusion of the policy year. Any
balance due the employer will be
credited to the employer’s
account.
This invoice covers the period
January 1, 2016 to February 29,
2016. Payment is due by
December 31, 2015.

March 1, 2016 to April 30, 2016.
Payment is due by February 29,
2016.
