The Future of Memory
70 years after the liberation, we ask ourselves: What unites different
countries in the way they remember, and where do they differ?
You can join the conversation about such questions and meet survivors
of the Bergen-Belsen camp who will be talking about their experiences.
How do their families remember the camps? How will the memory of these
events change once the last witnesses have passed? And how significant
are these events today?
You will attend the commemorative ceremony for the 70th anniversary
of the camp’s liberation at the Bergen-Belsen Memorial on 26 April.
