*“The Episcopal Spiritual Life Initiative: An Update”
During the 2013 symposium, we explored the learnings from spiritually vital congregations, based on
research which began at Willow Creek, a large non-denominational church. These learnings are now being
applied to Episcopal Churches, in partnership with Forward Movement. This effort is led by the Rev. Jay
Sidebotham, Director of Renewal Works, who will offer an afternoon session to talk about the current state
of this endeavor and to discuss a variety of ways the Episcopal churches are exploring this work, and
inviting any who are interested to participate in days ahead.
