ANAK SARAWAK AWARD 2014/15 Category ANAK SARAWAK BUSINESS EVENTS AWARD [ Products & Services of Excellence Award ] ABOUT THE ANAK SARAWAK AWARD 2014/15 Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) has incorporated the Anak Sarawak Appreciation Award, the Malaysia MICE Journalism Award (MMJA) and the International Convention Scholarship Award (ICSA) under the umbrella of the Anak Sarawak Award programme. This programme was established in 2007 and is the first in Malaysia to award partners, media and future local hosts in the Business Events industry. AWARD CATEGORY - MEETING VENUES OF EXCELLENCE AWARD This award is designed to recognise members supporting conferences, meetings, exhibitions and corporate events. ELIGIBILITY OF NOMINEES • The organisation must be a partner of Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) • This award open to Equipment Hire, Photography and Video Production, Print and Virtual Design Production, Transportation, Tourist Attraction, Tourist Guide, Restaurant, Unique & Specialty Venues and Catering Services. • The products and services must be located and operating in Sarawak • The organisation’s operations and events execution must take place during the qualifying period of 24th November 2013 to 30th November 2015. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & JUDGING CRITERION • Submissions must reach the Secretariat by 30th November 2015 • Judges will consider the following criteria as a basis for arriving at their decision > Level of Client Satisfaction [ 10 points ] i. Produce client testimonials ii. Indication of client testimonials iii. Evidence to support indication results > Performance Improvement [ 20 points ] i. Outline your organisational outcomes for the qualifying period ii. Comparison of your organisation’s target from previous years’ results iii. Outline business strategic plans that have led to performance improvement iv. Evidence of growth (graph, charts, etc.) > Product and Service Innovation and Development [ 20 points ] i. Outline programme or product development that contributes to your company and/or clients success. ii. Explain if your company undertakes products assessment & feedback, product training, etc. iii. Provide evidence such as performance report and outcomes > Quality Industry Standards [ 30 points ] i. List what training or development programmes are available to build knowledge, skills and expertise within your organisation. ii. Outside your core business activities, does your company contribute to the business events industry such as internships, youth scholarships, in kind support or monetary support, etc.? > Green Initiatives [ 20 points ] i. Does your organisation implement an environmental friendly approach? ii. What CSR programme has your organisation adopted? ?ow active is your organisation in the program and what is the outcome?
