Jump! (Working title)
Synopsis
Jump! is a comedy about Melody – a 30 year old secretary
obsessed with the 80’s. Melody bravely fights against societal
norms to fulfill her life long dream of winning a famous dance
competition. Uncoordinated and teased for her concrete legs,
with a training ground of merely her 80’s infused bedroom, the
odds are stacked against her, but Melody’s undying
determination gets her into the competition. She’s paired with
Gunter Jazhanz, a professional, extremely disciplined dancer
who is deeply offended by Melody’s enthusiastic childlike spirit
and lack of dance training and is determined to control her and
squash her soul. The combination of the two opposites forced
together in this ridiculous situation is a recipe for disaster and a
lot of fun.
